NEVCI Energize Summit

Accelerating EV Charging with
Bold Policies and Action

September 19, 2023 | 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM PT | FREE, VIRTUAL

EVs are critical to decarbonizing the transportation sector and one of the most promising near term solutions.  With the passage of the IIJA and the NEVI State Plans approved and in motion the United States has an historic opportunity to set a new market pace for electric vehicles.

However, the US strategy relies on a comprehensive set of policies to support the rapid growth of the market to realize the greatest societal and environmental benefits.

The National EV Charging Initiative is hosting a half day meeting on Sept 19th to present a series of discussions on the important complimentary policies needed to realize the investment needed to support the Electrification of Transportation in the US.

We will bring forward a series of Congressional Style hearings that will highlight model legislation needed to get steel in the ground in a timely and effective manner and ensure that the federal money goes farther!

FORMAT

The format for this summit will be Congressional Hearings around the Four Pillars that make up the ENERGIZE AGENDA.  We will invite State Legislative Leaders that have authored legislation and provide testimony from industry leaders, labor leaders, environmental leaders and key stakeholders.

Please bring your organization’s voice to this dialog.
