With a focus on accessibility, reliability, and affordability.
The states’ plans are in and approved. Now it’s time to execute, and we have to get it right. Government, industry and community stakeholders are going to need to work together as never before to fulfill the Biden Administration’s vision and the objectives of the II&JA for an affordable, reliable and accessible national EV charging network. This panel won’t just identify challenges: it will also explore strategies that have worked, and assess how they do (or don’t) translate across state lines, from urban to suburban to rural areas, and along income and demographic spectrums. The panelists will also discuss how businesses and public agencies at all levels of government can bridge cultural divides as they take on new roles and forge new working relationships.

Bold Actions and commitments focused on job creation, manufacturing and innovation.
With the bipartisan infrastructure law in place and State Plans approved in all 50 States/DC and Puerto Rico we see the historic opportunity and a critical starting point to support the transition to Electric Vehicles. We are setting a new market pace for electric vehicles – working together with government and industry setting strong, clear targets for where we need to go. The Guiding Principles of the National EV Charging Initiative sets up the framework for collaboration, a sense of urgency and the importance of the private sector to step up with unprecedented investment, augmenting government and utility funding to finance charging infrastructure that serves all communities and vehicle types.
This session will focus on the investments and opportunities for the private sector. In addition, we will explore what more can government and other stakeholder do to drive investment in further developing EV infrastructure.
