The Southwest Energy Efficiency Project (SWEEP) is a public-interest organization promoting greater energy efficiency and clean transportation in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and Wyoming. In the U.S. Southwest, the SWEEP and allies helped unlock more than $1 billion in new state and utility program funding* for transportation electrification over the last 2 years. Light duty EV sales are increasing, along with new states joining the Advanced Clean Cars Program. For example, EVs made up more than 10 percent of passenger vehicle sales in Colorado in November 2021.
