Danielle Eckert | Director of Government Affairs, IBEW

Danielle Eckert heads the IBEW’s Government Affairs Department, where she manages the union’s wide-ranging political and legislative program. A retired staff sergeant in the U.S. Army Reserves, Eckert joined the IBEW in 2014 as a locomotive electrician in a heavy repair shop at Norfolk Southern in Altoona, Pa., where she was an elected member of the local’s leadership. Eckert holds a master's degree in management and leadership from Liberty University and attended Mt. Aloysius College as an undergraduate.
